Club “News” thangs

The “Spring Gun Show” saw sum pretty-good club participation this year! Thanks to ALL that helped with all the different aspects involved in that endeavor!

Although the receipts may have suffered a bit, due to the lovely weather, I think a good time was had by most.

A BIG “thanks” to all the members that stuck around to help with the “teardown” part of the show. YOU are greatly appreciated!

 Thanks for your efforts!

Our first club meeting at the range will be held on Wednesday, May 14th! Please call A.K. Burr if you are DEFINITELY going to attend. He’z figgerin’ on havin’ meat and weenies… YOU need to brang a “side-dish” of some sort along with (maybe) yer shooter and some ideerz.

Give A.K. a call on hiz “hello-machine” @ 870-0551.

On another “note”, we were a little “slack” on “key hours” this past year. Next January, if you don’t show 20 hours or more of “Club-work”, don’t say anything… just get your out checkbook and write one for $100 for your next key. If you DO work on the range, fill out a work-slip & leave it in the “Sign-In-Book”. Doug or I will get them to the right person.

       Miranda Ode                           88

All-in-all, T’warn’t bad…  that is… ‘til them targets n’ frames started blowing away and coming from together! The  onliest “Junior”, this time, wuz Miranda Ode. She dun good with a fine score of 88. The weather was GREAT,  with gentle (fer Black’s Creek Range!) breezes and balmy temperatures; plenty o’ “weather changes.”  So, with all the “hard-core” muzzle stuffers, we shot AT 3 targets this time.

Mebee so we’ll git a little “MO’ participatement Nex’ month? I shore do hope so. (Mebee even a few OTHER “smooth-gun” shooters?)
